I have a TV in my room, but it's the one in the living room that's attached to the cable box + DVR. There isn't much that I tape, except The Wire (pour one out) and John Adams. I recently discovered the joys of the various HBO movie channels and have been DVRing random movies. The problem is that my roommate is always camped out on the couch and I'm tired of trying to wrest control of the television from her. Unfortunately, her movie tastes consist of romcoms and period pieces. So I gave in and joined Blockbuster.com yesterday. I've heard that Netflix has a better foreign film selection, but I like the option of picking a spur-of-the-moment DVD at the store.
I've already got 37 DVDs in my queue.
