According to these commercials for the new Mercedes-Benz, it will know if you're drifting out of your lane or if the car in front of you stops short. I would like to point out that the cars in Korea already do this -- they will beep at you when you get too close to other cars (like when you're parking). This technology clearly already exists and has been mass marketed... in Asia. Surely it's not that hard to just import that technology over here. Safety first, people. Don't be stingy with your technology!
Though while we're at it, the Asian technology of automatically replacing the ball at the driving range (through the ground, and being able to adjust the tee height with your foot) is something that I've been desperately wanting to come to America.
