I liked this movie. I wasn't expecting much and had just thrown in the DVD thinking I'd catch up on some emails and such while having it on in the background. But I was pleasantly surprised. It was surprisingly moving, though this could have been because I had basically no expectations for this film. I enjoyed that the good guy and bad guy weren't just cardboard cutout characters, but with a bit of nuance to each of them. And I'm a sucker for explosions.
I'm curious now to see the original, and how much was kept and changed.
