I need some sort of balance in my life where I can have a few moments to reflect and relax during the remains of the day. What I remember most from this novel (and this probably says a lot about who I am) is wistfully wanting that time that Stevens and Miss Kenton used to decompress after a long day with a cup of cocoa.
