I have a batch of movies waiting on the DVR, including The Fountain, The Hudsucker Proxy, and Before Sunrise. And I've got Once in DVD form. A friend and I were trying to come up with things to do last night, and among the options was just watching a movie. I know I have a tendency to watch random indie flicks, so I suggested Once, the one somewhat mainstream movie. [Hey, it had just gotten some publicity for winning an Academy Award.] I did the full run down to provide all of the options, and The Fountain was the one he had heard of. Darren Aronofsky. Who would've thought.
