Inflation

I bought the small Davek umbrella (in yellow) over two years ago from Gilt Group for $25. It was a steal at 50% off the regular price. I know, it's still a lot of money for an umbrella. But, partly because of that, I've only forgotten it once. To be fair, it comes with a lifetime warranty and if it flips inside out, all you have to do is push the button to make it right itself. And it comes with a coupon to re-purchase your umbrella for 50% off. So, I guess I've spent $50 in two years on two umbrellas. Hm. Anyway, I was perusing the Davek website today and noticed that it's now $79!
